Entre 25 de Outubro e 24 de Novembro os Pais da Andrea vieram nos visitar e conhecer a netinha Amelie!!
Between 25/10 and 24/11, Andrea´s parents were here to visit us and meet for the first time their Granddaughter!!
Depois de uma rápida parada aqui em Sydney eles foram viajar pela costa leste da Austrália e no final da Viagem a Andrea e a Amelie os encontraram em Cairns (nordeste daqui), aonde eles passaram uma semana passeando em Port Douglas.
After a brief stop in Sydney, they set-off travelling along the east coast from Australia and at the end of the trip Andrea and Amelie met them in Cairns, where they spent a week travelling around Port Douglas.
Mas o melhor mesmo foi o passeio que fizemos todos juntos para Fiji!!! Passamos uma semana maravilhosa, curtindo cada momento deste paraíso!!!
But the best from this time was the trip we all took to Fiji!! WE spent a wonderful week, enjoying every moment in this paradise!!!

Fiji is a 4 hours flight from Sydney and is a country that belongs to the Oceania continent. It´s an archipelago with 322 island, with a population of around 900,000 people.
Foi uma realmente uma viagem de primeira classe!! Ficamos hospedados em um Resort show (Shangri-la Resort) na Costa dos Corais, com todas as mordomias possíveis (nada parecido com os “velhos” tempos de mochileiros!!! hehehehe).
It was a real first-class trip!! We stayed in a awesome resort (Shangri-la Resort), in the Coral Coast, with all possible comfort (nothing similar to the old “backpackers” time!! hehehe)
Além da beleza natural, o que mais nos impressionou em Fiji foi a receptividade e o carinho do povo, especialmente com a Amelie. Eles (todos eles) simplesmente adoram criança.
Apart from the natural beauty, the receptiveness and affection from the Fijian people was what impressed us the most, especially with Amelie. They simple love kids (all of them).
Tivemos uma semana com muito sol, curtindo praias paradisíacas, tendo contato e aprendendo sobre a cultura local e relaxando.
We had a gorgeous week, with plenty of sun, enjoying paradise-like beaches, having contact and learning about the local culture and relaxing.
E pra não deixar a oportunidade de ter alguém para cuida da Amelie passar em branco, a Andrea e eu aproveitamos para fazer alguns mergulho!!! Sensacional!!!! Aguá quente, visibilidade de mais de 30 metros e formações de coral espetaculares!!!!!E até nos aventuramos um pouco em em pequeno barco a vela!!
And to not miss the opportunity of having someone to babysit Amelie, Andrea and I went for a couple of dives!!! Awesome!!! Warm water, over 30m visibility and amazing soft coral formation!! And we even adventured ourselves in a bit of sailing!!
Além da ilha principal (Viti Levu), fomos conhecer uma das ilhas-resort mais populares de lá (Ilha Castway). Simplesmente um paraíso.
Apart from the main island (Viti Levu), we went to visit one of the most popular island-resort (Castaway Island). Heaven in Earth!!
A Amelie se esbaldou de tanto brincar na piscina e no mar!! E claro...foi mais do que mimada pela “Oma” e pelo “Opa”!!!
Amelie enjoyed every second playing in the water!! And, of course....she was completed spoiled by “Oma” and “Opa” during all the time!!!
